Many would say that John Carter heavily borrows from other superheros such as the Superman. But the fact is that John Carter is based on the popular series by Edgar Rice Burroughs titled John Carter of Mars. In fact all other superhero comics actually drew inspiration from John Carter.
Coming back to the movie, it's a decent flick with some gripping action. It's one of those cult movies which you'd either fall in love with or dislike outright.

Limitless is one of those sci-fi flicks which has a great concept, excellent plot and some powerful performance but it simply fails to capitalize on it at the end. The climax simply disappoints though overall it's a nice movie to watch.

Mirrors is one of those few horror movies which has a nice plot and delivers some really chilling scenes at the same time. Sure the movie could have been scarier, but at least it has a believable plot and a good climax, unlike most horror movies, which tend to mess it up at the end. Watch this one and you won't be disappointed.

Martin Scorsese is at it again. Hugo is a heartwarming story about a young orphan who's not afraid of pursuing his dreams. A beautiful movie which is bound to touch everyone's heart. Watch this in 3D and surely you'll fall in love with this one.

Predators is a reboot of the old Predator franchisee and this time there's a group of humans which find themselves stranded on an alien planet, with a triumvirate of Predators hunting them down instead of a lone predator seeking a group of humans on earth.
Easily the best installment in the Predators series. Adrien Brody is good as usual. Watch this one and you trust me you won't be disappointed.

Don 2 is as cheesy as it gets. What could have been a redefining movie in SRK's career has been merely reduced to one of those usual bollywood masala flicks.
There are some breathtaking action sequences and special effects, but it's the cheesy dialogues which kills the fun. The movie borrows heavily from hollywood flicks like Mission Impossible and James Bond. So if you're a hollywood movie buff, you'd be able to predict every twist in the plot.

A decent horror flick with some spine chilling moments, but the plot fails to deliver. Daniel Radcliffe has done a good job. He's clearly moved out of his "Harry Potter shoes" and delivers a credible performance.
All in all this is a decent horror movie, but due to the bad plot and storyline, you won't be able to remember this one for long.

With avengers, Marvel really raises the bar for it's movies. This one surely lives up to it's hype. The slam-bam action and the brilliant sense of humor gives the movie it's edge. Joss Whedon has done a commendable work as each superhero is given equal importance, which is really a great deal. Good cinematography as well.
Robert Downey is amazing as usual and finally they manage to get the Hulk right. Dark Night Rises will surely need to take it to the next level in order to beat The Avengers.

What can one say about this one? For a Few Dollars more has it all. Lee Van Cleef just meshes in as a bounty hunter. Clint Eastwood does what he's best at, being the bad ass cowboy and Gian Maria is a fearsome bandit. Excellent score by Enio Moricone makes this movie a treat to watch. One of the best westerns ever made.

Chica de Rio, or The Girl from Rio is a tale about a man who is tired of his moribund life and wants to pursue his dream of becoming a salsa dancer. This one might not be hilarious, but it's good for a laugh or two. Hugh Laurie is good as usual.
