After seeing those awesome little youngsters in the first two series it initially seems a bit difficult to replace their innocence with this suddenly bigger ones. It is as if they have suddenly grown up. There is certainly an attempt to maintain the same magic as in the previous one, but it does not reach up to the mark. The second novel or the story in the series increases the level of expectation from the mystery in Harry Potter stories. Here there is an entry of new characters into the story which explores a completely different aspect of Harry Potter's life that was not explored before. The characters and their importance in the story and in the protagonist's life also makes the story pretty interesting. That is what is mainly to look out for in the movie. The performance by Gary Oldman as Timothy Spall and David Thewlis is really worth it in the movie.
The movie is the second in the series and is also the best in it, it stands out because of its story line which is really exciting with the scene at Ron's place giving an insight as to how is the house of a wizard. It involves flying car, jumping goblin, big giant spider and snake. The action in the end draws people to the edge of the seat. The movie also offers more scope for laughter created by Ron and their professor-Mr. Lockhart. The mystery in this part, its description in the book and the direction in the movie is what makes it different than the rest of the novels and movies in the series. Most important in this movie, personal I feel, is the way that the mystery is unraveled and the way the story ends.
A wonderful story knit out from the relationship of the three pivotal characters Aman, Naina and Rohith. The story initial begins with the introduction of the two of the main characters-Naina and Rohith exploring their relation with each other and their attitudes towards their life and talking mainly of the familial relation and the exploring the domestic space of a Naina's life. Disturbing all her daily routines is the entry of the third character of Aman, an optimistic fellow, perhaps the most important among the three, since he sets everything straight in the disturbed life of Naina.
Then, in a stereotypical manner Naina starts liking the person she hated the most initially (Aman) but then sadly it turns out to be some secret in Aman's life that he does not reveal to anyone till the end. He instead of reciprocating his love tries to find another love for Naina because he wants to be happy ever after.
The movie has lot of other things to watch for like the comedy in it, which makes a person who have seen the movie to smile to oneself. Not to forget the wonderful background music. It is a mesmerizing tune which will make one feel nostalgic and the songs in itself by are a treat to one's ears.
. The beginning of the series that takes you into the magical world of Harry Potter. Though it begins with a kind of stereotypical idea, where a boy who is made to feel unwanted but has no choice but to stay with the people who are called his only family, it takes its audience for a wonderful ride after he reaches Hogwarts.
It is his life in Hogwarts that has made the story a wonderful piece of work. The movie to a large extent was loyal to the book. The pleasure to see the characters the readers always only imagined, to see them in real life, how they might have looked all plays an important factor in making the movie a favourite not only among young children but also among their parents as well.
