Balan and Aashna arrive at their new home to an overly friendly and enthusiastic Rohan but also the not-so-welcoming Akash and Veer. This move is tough on both the sides. As they try to adjust to each other's drastically contrasting lifestyles, a few rules and agreements need to be worked out. Both parties go all-out negotiating and hilarity ensues.

'2 by 3' tells the story of a married couple, Balan and Aashna, who are both in their early 30s and are well settled into their 'adulthood'. However, due to a temporary financial crunch, they are forced to move in with three, 20-year-old college roommates, Rohan, Veer and Akash - all three of whom are trying to wriggle around life without having to really grow up. The series is about finding comfort where none exists; it is a “coming of age” story meeting a “coming down in age” story!.

Balan and Aashna must unite with the unkempt bachelors to fight a common enemy - the not-so-friendly neighbourhood mouse! Will they succeed in their battle?
