A Good Old Shakespearean Drama
The first full-length sound film of Shakespearean literature, Merchant of Venice is just beautiful. Featuring the dialogues from the play as they originally are, the true essence of the drama is seen with every portrayal. The characters are very good in their craft and are beautifully brought to life. The visuals are breathtaking and complement the details given by the master in the original. The movie is the direct representation, no adulteration whatsoever. The emotions are retained and so is the melancholic setting and mood of the entire movie.

The times and life of the European Age are shown quite divinely and it offers a good knowledge to people studying the literary piece. Must watch movie for all Shakespearean fans.

High Octane Fighting with the Best of Action
Probably a refreshing take on the classic Wonder Woman comics, this movie is a visual spectacle. It features the best action scenes. Gal Gadot is remarkable in the role and plays to perfection. She used that convincing acting talent and was flawless while fighting.

The visuals were spectacular, especially in the Roman Era scenes. The war was very realistic and the overall feel was fabulous. The only downside is the prolonged fighting towards the climax, which could've been shortened. Chris Pine was good as a supporting actor. The twists in the end was good.
It is a very good adaptation of superhero comics in the DC world.

Action movies can't get any better
Possibly the best movie so far of the MI franchise, Fallout makes your day worthwhile. It is packed with the most jaw-dropping stunts and heart-thumping moments and literally keeps you rooted in your seat at every moment. Tom Cruise is at his exceptional best and his dedication is clearly visible in the entire movie. Henry Cavill is spectacular too and doesn't miss to impress. The supporting cast have played their part amazingly. The stunts are phenomenal and you tend to hold your breath in anticipation.

You know when the direction and screenplay is impeccable, when you get involved in the story. That is exactly what happens in Fallout and proves that what you see may not be what appears always...

The correct movie to make you hungry for more! (Pun intended)!!
One of the best takes on a cooking theme in recent times, Cook Up A Storm lives up to its name and thrills its viewers. The cinematography is beautiful and the kind of effort put in to make it appear authentic is commendable.

The movie is about a son of World-class chef, Sky Ko, trying to keep up to his father's expectations, yet the latter disregards him and hates his lack of culinary brilliance. He abandons his son with a friend of his, who runs a restaurant and asks him to teach him the craft, while he would go on to establish himself as the Masterchef.

Many years later, the now grown up Sky is the best cook of the restaurant and people throng to the place to have the food he makes. One fine day, a new Michelin star restaurant opens right in front, with a Korean chef, Paul Ahn, running it. His agents boast of his talent as he learnt the skills from abroad. His creations are artistic and contain visual treats that no one in the town had seen before. Soon there are fireworks between the two chefs who keep competing . At one instance, Sky's restaurant is threatened to be shut to cater to the customers of Paul. Hence, a competition is held between the two to decide who gets the area. Paul wins but things get a rough turn, when Paul is expelled from his own restaurant, deceivingly, and a female chef replaces him, when the secret is revealed that Paul cannot taste salt.

In order to make amends and get their share of prestige and rights, Paul and Sky team up and enter a global culinary contest, where the last round is a face off with the Masterchef, Sky's dad. The duo win the competition till the last round, where only one chef should face the master. Paul asks Sky to do it and make his father realize his mistake. In the final face off Sky prepares a simple dish of noodles, just like his father made for him before abandoning him and presents it to his father and leaves. Sky's dad tastes it and sheds a tear.

The fantastic culinary creations created in the movie are so beautiful and leave you salivating and wanting for more. The idea is novel and the implementation is superb. This movie has a recipe for success and the right mixture of the various cinematic ingredients like love, loyalty and happiness just adds the icing on the cake!!!

The Family Entertainer For All Generations...
Perhaps the best family entertainer of all time, this masterpiece is the innovation of a visionary, K.V Reddy, quite ahead of his time. Revolving around the mythical story of Sashirekha in the Mahabharat time period, Mayabazaar is exceptional. Boasting of a stellar cast, consisting of NTR, ANR, Savitri, S.V Ranga Rao and more, the hit movie never fails to make you laugh till your insides hurt. The collaboration with these finest artistes gives a certain feel of completion to the film. The added family drama, the hilarious comedy and the heartbreaking emotion also provides the required masala to this concoction.

The film was revolutionary for the kind of techniques used to make the visual effects. Th cinematography was spot on and the scenes involving magic, has sense of rusticity that enhances the good feel. The recent colored version is just the icing on the cake. Totally recommend this film for everyone, irrespective of their age, as this movie will always stand the test of time.

Thought provoking movie that will Inspire!!
Shankarabharam is the splendid brainchild of Telugu visionary director K. Vishwanath. As a typical style of the director, the film revolves around the arts. The well respected carnatic singer and widower, Shastri, happens to meet a prostitute's daughter, Tulasi, who is very inclined to the arts. Shastri, thrilled by her dedication and talent, gives her a good guidance. Things, however, go haywire, when Tulasi's mother wants her daughter to join her trade and gets a good price from a client for her. The deed is done, but the man discovers a photo of Shastri she kept in her room as a tribute to her Guru and talks foully about him. Unable to bear the insult, Tulasi kills the man and then has to undergo proceedings for the killing, while the lawyer is provided for by Shastri. Though she wins the case, the society carelessly associates Shastri and her immorally, due to which she leaves the place. Needless to say, with the advent of pop culture in India, the maestro's value depreciated, along with the value of traditional music.

Years later, her son joins the Shastri household and becomes the master's protegee. He learns the best of the craft from him. Meanwhile, Shastri's daughter's marriage is fixed and he decides to conduct a concert in honour of the occasion. The respect for the elderly master brings massive crowds to the concert, but Shastri suffers a heart attack in the middle of his singing. The song is quickly taken over by Tulasi's son and Tulasi watches with reverence. Shastri realizes instantly that the boy is none other than Tulasi's son and dies peacefully after symbolically accepting him as his heir to his music. Tulasi then runs and falls at her master's feet and dies too.

This story is beautiful tribute to the bond between teachers and students, where there are no ill intentions and complete surrender. The songs are very meaningful and have a lot of philosophical depth in them. Dedication is what shines trough this film. There is no comment to be made at the wonderful direction of the legend, Vishwanath and acting by the talented and expressive cast.
This movie is an iconic one and will always remain a gem in Indian cinema.

The biopic on the yesteryear actress Savitri, is a treat for everyone who watches it. Incredibly directed, this movie offers a great content and many sneak peeks into the controversies of the actress. There was a great research done to bring out the movie plot and the painstaking effort paid off. The emotional scenes struck a chord and the scenes of popular movies were remade with precision.

The amazing acting by Keerthy Suresh was the highlight of the film. All the actors essaying the roles of very famous personalities of the era have done a very commendable job. The casting is fabulous. The maximum credit goes to the makeup and costume designers for replicating the beauty and features of Savitri, effortlessly in Keerthy. The music by Mickey J Meyer is melodious and captures the lingering tunes of that decade. The director, Nag Ashwin, really brought out the best of his art with this movie. Lovely watch.

Vinny reviewed 100% Love
Light-hearted Entertainer
This movie brings out the best of the romance genre in Tollywood. Combining the elements of the pressurized engineering and romance, 100% Love competently communicates to the youth of the country. The actors emote their characters very well and bring out the essence in the story. Though there is no complicated ending that's difficult to predict, the story makes sure that its not a pain to watch it breeze through. The comic scenes are superb and the childish nature of the characters make it an amusing watch.

The music is delightful. The song sequences are strategically placed and don't seem out of place at all. The direction and screenplay, ably reigned by Sukumar, are terrific. The flick is a mix of the best elements required to raise it to the level of a super hit.

Funny and creative to watch
A tongue-in-cheek comedy, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy brings out the pain in having a disability, in a rather humorous way. The protagonist suffers from short term memory loss, due to which he forgets giving important information to people, even during crucial times. In such an encounter, he meets his love interest and somehow manages to convince her that he has no disability. In a different situation, he enrages his girlfriend's dad and he says that he will never get his daughter married to him, without knowing that this is the same man his daughter is dating. What unfurls later is the protagonist realizing that this man is his girlfriend's dad and somehow tweaking the situations so that the pieces are not placed together.

This movie relies heavily on the character sketches, whose roles have been played perfectly. Other conditions also prevail, where there is a lot of action or a lot of sentiment playing. These events are also handled well. The music is also very nice and soothing. The overall feel of the film is fresh and new, the concept being the highlight of the film.
