Special Chhabis- 8.6/10

Despite the fact that it is one of the most intelligently scripted and directed movie of all times,special chhabis will not be in my TOP 5.I think enough has been said about how the movie was great and how everyone acted brilliantly and every single soul on the cast and crew deserves that too so i'll talk about what spoiled my taste

>Romantic angle just to induce kajal agarwal.
I hate it that what could have been another A Wednesday (9.6/10) remained as Special chhabis (8.8/10).Still its a great movie and even if u spend 300 bucks u won't regret a single penny

Just when i thought when are we going to see great thrillers in bollywood,i saw this,a thriller that restored my faith in bollywood.A schizophrenic bank manager plotting his revenge for getting kicked out of a bank he devoted his life to . How?? By getting it robbed by 3 blind people. The plot is thrilling enough to make you curious and a wonderful direction just enhances this hollywood-ish thriller. The movie is exhilarating captivating, intense and emotional (Paresh Rawal’s account of his mother) but never looses its plot. A movie that keeps you at the edge of your seats all the time.

Directed by Shoojit Sarcar (Vicky Donor fame ) this is the best movie after Roza tackling the problem of terrorism in Kashmir –“Heaven turned into Hell “ in a sensible manner. Jimmy Shergil is one of the most underrated actors and this is his best work ,Minissha Lamba is impressive in her debut. Awe-inspiring cinematography with a bluish tint,shaky camerawork in shootout scenes,great script,brilliant direction and soothing background score takes the movie to great heights.
