How is it remotely related to bang bang.

This is the sentence Beachhead used in the original series when the Joes are left with no planes, no vehicles and very little ammunition, at the same time an whole army of well armed and geared Cobra units is banging at the door. From that moment on you get a few minutes of thrilling counterattack till almost the end of the episode, this movie gives it to you almost from the beginning.
The story is down to the basics of the GIJOE-Cobra conflict, Cobra wants the world and conjures up a sophisticated evil scheme to achieve it. Agents from both sides use their unique talents and skills to get the upper hand and ensure victory. this movie had everything I loved about the original GIJOE and was way better than "The Rise of Cobra".
Again, thumbs up on including Ninja action, can never get enough of that! The special effects and props were amazing, and the costumes were wonderfully crafted. If you looking for an hour an half of action, GIJOE Retaliation is the movie I'd recommend whether you're a fan or not.

I don't feel like I want my 2 hours back, but the only thought anyone could give to the film after those two entertaining hours would be to compare it to the cartoons/comics. To that end, my opinions are thus:
They did a great job with casting, although Dennis Quaid should not try to fake a John Wayne accent. : D Ray Park, playing the role of Snake Eyes, once again kicks ash. His scenes alone are almost worth the price of admission. Byung-hun Lee also does a great job as Storm Shadow and I'm happy to say they seem to have preserved most if not all of the back story for these two characters.
The characterizations were very good, including the changes to some of the characters' back stories. Not over the top and also not two-dimensional. And no, Marlon Wayans, including his predictable brand of comedy relief, did not have a major influence on the tone of the film. My only complaint is that the back story for this incarnation of Cobra Commander is really dull compared to some of the cartoon/comic concepts. I had hoped for a larger ensemble of Joes, in keeping in line with the franchise, but my guess is that future G.I. Joe movies will expand on that. On the other hand, they brought in more Cobra classics than I expected.
The "accelerator suits" which are featured in the trailers are, I think, unnecessary and not in keeping with the franchise. My biggest complaint here is, why aren't the other Joes wearing them and why hasn't Cobra (not called Cobra in the movie) stolen/adopted them yet. I know the reason they were used, they're major eye candy, but they could have done more with less. I predict they'll come up with some cheesy excuse to scrap them for the next movie while letting the bad guys use something nearly identical.
Seriously, it's not bad. Good matin

Terminator 3: Rise of the machines.
After watching part I and II, I got excited about watching this movie. I'm glad it turned out as I expected and delivered a little more! I cannot tell the story of this movie without spoiling a few things. So if you haven't watched any terminator film, please look away.
*START SPOILERS / STORY*
John Connor is now a grown man and lives a lonely life. Always on the run and not living in a home. No address and no way of contacting him in any way. This has to do with the events of the second movie. Nonetheless, yet another terminator is send back in time to try and kill him AGAIN. However, this time the terminator is a female! And it seems she's not only after John this time. Once again, a 2nd character is send back in time to protect John. An old friend...
*END SPOLERS / STORY*
I really liked this movie. It's (in my opinion) a real cinema film though. Mainly because of the large amounts of stunts and explosions. It would be a kick to see this on a huge screen.
The story moves not too fast nor too slow. It gives us more information on the Terminator storyline as a whole, as well as a few new plot twists that make this movie interesting and clever.
Besides from the action and suspense, the movie also has a nice doze of humor. There's also good dialog and the acting is okay enough. Arnold once again shines as the Tuhminatoh! Sorry, couldn't resist...
In conclusion, Terminator: Rise of the machines is definitely a worthy watch. I give this movie 8 out of 10 stars.

Words cannot express the affection I feel for this movie. After all these years, whenever I watch it I just can't take my eyes away. Cameron has created a masterpiece.
To me, this is Arnold's greatest role. He's a movie star, meaning to me he's always Arnold, but here... my god, what a scary and outright intimidating screen presence that man has.
Biehn and Hamilton also have great performances and the chemistry between them is astonishing.
I consider this to be one of the greatest movies ever made and certainly the best of the series. Don't' get me wrong, Terminator 2 was great but I prefer the original with its darker atmosphere and soundtrack.
You can't go wrong with this movie.

The first film was cool, the second one maybe more so, and this third film is just as good as the two, I don't know why the critics only give it two out of five. Frank Martin (Lock, Stock's Jason Statham), aka the "Transporter" wakes to find a car crashing into his wall, and when the injured man is put in an ambulance, it explodes. When Frank wakes up from being knocked out, he is forced by villain Johnson (Robert Knepper) to deliver an unknown package to wherever he says. Frank is joined by Ukranian Valentina (Natalya Rudakova), daughter of environmental minister Leonid Vasilev (The Living Daylights' Jeroen Krabb

The first transporter, a brilliant film. An almost unexpected hit. The plot not too far out, the action sequences not too far out and certainly believable. Hollywood sees a chance to make some money and thinks it can do better, puts up lots of money and obviously wants to call the shots. Hey presto - a sequel too far! With too much CGI work for its own good and action sequences that are like doggy doo-doo from Chine, just a little too far fetched. Statham is his usual superb self again, then I have never seen a bad performance from him to date. If you like your action sequences written and directed by Hans Christian Anderson and produced on an X Box you'll love it. Better rent the first one again than this one.
