But since its a Biopic it can be said as a poignant depiction of the anguished life of Saadat Hasan Manto who was an unapologetic story teller with his bravery and creative skills he was able to potray the realities of the world through his stories and that is what anguished the government of Pakistan.

At first I must say before watching this movie I had quite many doubts that whether should I watchi this movie or not. But after watching it I realized that its the most underrated movie I ever saw. I was really young when I first watched this movie but after I watched it I literally got an #addiction for it because I loved Shahrukh Khan in this movie. His acting skills were amazing and besides the King Khan each and every actor played his/her role with such great sincerity. This movie is truly #inspiring and #touching . If we talk about the acting I seriously couldn't tell any difference between Rabir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt and so I can say it was mostly #characterDriven. This movie was quite #entertaining and #inspiring at the same time. The #friendship potrayed between Sanjay Dutt and Kamlesh(played by Vicky Kaushal) made us all #emotional till the end.

I think this was the first movie I ever watched of Rajesh Khanna and the first movie in which I shed a lot of tears. Its one of the most #offbeat and #inspiring movie I ever saw. Though its #classic yet till date it influences me to a great extent. I can never get over the #addiction of watching this movie again and again. Its filled with #emotional and #depressing scenes but it seriously makes you strong even when you don't notice it you get influenced by it a lot. Rajesh Khanna has given his best performance in this film and according to me Amitabh Bacchhan was diligent too. Like this movie name says "Anand" this movie taught us to be happy in all circumstances like the protagonist who who was diagnosed with untreatable cancer yet he enjoyed his last days of life to the fullest.
