The film is emptier than the empty suitcases that Varun Dhawan carries on his head in the movie #unfunny #tired
PS: They should make a movie with Arjun kapoor & Sara Ali Khan just to benchmark which nepo-kid is the worst actor in Bollywood

Mangoman reviewed Venom
We are PG-13
The silliness, abrupt editing, cheesiness, and cornyness aside, it was a Fun film. Unfortunately, the pursuit of going PG-13 is quite prominent which has ultimately ruined a could be ' a fine anti-hero' movie.

The only part that works for the film is the 'symbiote' relationship between Tom Hardy and Venom, otherwise rest characters are non-existent and uni-dimensional. Carlton Drake is a typical CEO archetype(Riz's second one in recent memory) and again suffers from cliched writing for a villain with misplaced motivation and confused tactics.

The painful part of the film are off-course the editing where abrupt scene switch happen with lots of inconsistencies. You don't even want to go there when it comes to discussing the cut-copy-paste job. Among other things, it is hard to explain curvy she-venom, presence of a rocket launch site in San Francisco city and Venom's change of heart!

The special effects is gooey and seems cheap while the action sequence are hard to follow in night where the symbiotes battle in predictable and unexciting sequences. However, the motorcycle chase sequence is fun.

It is not a bad film(far far better than Suicide Squad , the run time is pretty short and the screenplay pacy, so you you will enjoy the film for sure. Go for it without any emotional baggage.

PS: Don't wait for the second post credit scene, its an extended trailer of Spider-man animated movie

The Solo Doesn't fly:
Ironic but true. I am not a Star Wars fan but do respect its fan passion for the franchise. The new Star Wars film never excited me and this doesn't change my opinion either. Though we all know all the behind the scenes issues, what should be held accountable is the inconsistency between the intended narrative and the direction. I suppose( and by the track record of Millers) this movie was to be a popcorn fun humorous film to enjoy during the summer, which was not supposed to adhere to the burden of its heritage. Alas, we ended up with characters who don't know why they were there and why they were doing the things that they were doing. Why did a character sacrifice herself when the ones remained could easily talk their way out? Why did a character betray only to betray again!

Han Solo himself finds it hard to stand out from the crowd of his replicas like Starlord...

If you aren't tired catching two back to back superhero films, you can give it a shot, it's a fine flick.

The jokes were repeated, unoriginal and predictable. Even the makers know that the franchise/theme is done for that is why the end credit scene of doing a closure. It is a fine summer superhero film but forgettable.

Retirement Goals:
I have always been obsessed with the opinion that creating an impactful villain is tougher than creating an impactful hero. Barring two, Marvel has been infamous for creating one-dimensional villains lacking a concrete motivation or sense of purpose, and the only reason they ever existed was to declare their Evil plans of world dominance by first destroying it and then conveniently be disposed of in the climax.

Thanos is different, and that is what works for the movie. All he desires to complete his long-awaited job and then retire to a mountain and watch the beautiful Sun.

The film starts in 5th gear and never takes a moment to pause. Yes, the film is crowded but most have got their fair share of screen space. It is obvious that Russo brothers are a fan of Thor as he gets the most awesome scenes, while Banner/Hulk are relegated to comic relief. Tony Stark is doing what he does up best while Steve Rogers also gets some audience cheers.

The high point, as expected, was the FAN Moments that everyone around internet was craving for, as if Marvel really browsed through 9gag to write these skirmishes: Doctor Strange(Wizard Sherlock) interaction with Tony Stark(Sci-fi Sherlock) or be it Quill(self-proclaimed Cool captain) vs Thor(a 1500 year old price with attitude) and others....Even several characters were force fit, just in order to get some meme milage such as Peter Dinklage and The Soul Stone Keeper.
Even Nick Fury has got the most Sam L Jackson Line eva!!!

Though there were some plot loopholes, such as Doctor Strange not putting use to Time stone when he could easily have, and Iron Man conjuring metal out of thin air, let it pass off, the movie is a must watch.

Maybe in the next one, we get to see Rocket vs Tony! or Loki & Clint joining the team along with the one new friend !
9gag will explode with memes after this one!
Watch in IMAX 3D

Mangoman reviewed Rampage
WWF = WWE
Rampage = WWE Ladder Match Followed by a WWE Handicap Match Officiated by the Rock.

Well, the Rock is doing what he does best: A Big guy in the Jungle(his 5th time), and there is the big battle in Chicago. We have seen all this before too, maybe just a year ago in Kong Skrull Island but guess what, we love to watch it again.

George has some character but the other two animals don't. Rest characters are just a big piece of cliche's but who cares, I didn't go there to watch Lincoln!!!

Black Panther is less of a superhero film and more of a political drama. After a long time, we have a well-written villain with some character depth and justifiable motivations. Though justification of revenge on Colonizers should have been avoided. The film doesn't do much in progressing the MCU arch but will sell fine as a superhero origin movie in the current political context. It has direct references to the USA and its president. The film is bold with strong characters, however, it is low on humor(we expect that a lot from a Marvel film) and low on the action too. Not groundbreaking , yet a good film.
