TVF’s Kota factory is a black and white series which shines the brightest. The black and white life is a beautiful metaphor to the situation and life of students being dull due to the burden of studies. The situation feels like an extremely analyzed and anyone can relate to it and live it instead of just viewing it. The series contains some iconic punch lines that make you laugh hard or moments that make you nostalgic. The storyline is exceptional and really amazing. The rawness of the story depicts the beauty of the show. The cast has an amazing on-screen chemistry and exceptional acting skills. It is a must-watch for everyone out there.

Suspense!
Truth or Tamanna is a captivating web series about an ambitious dancer girl gone missing and her boyfriend going out on a limb to look for her. Throughout this, he realizes he knows nothing about her. The whole venture brings forth a lot of secrets and there are a lot of axes to grind. No character is the principal figure in the show. All have their own skeletons in the closet. And the climax took my breath away. The unexpected twist added to the charm of the whole series. The pace of the show is also as good as required. It definitely stands out of the rest web series.

Must watch!
Broken but beautiful is a pleasing and intimate love story of two broken souls, finding solace and peace with each other. The cast has admirable chemistry on-screen and is a treat to watch. The soundtracks are a gift to the playlists and extremely pleasing to the ears. The thing that frustrated me was the slow pace of the show that it got me to the point of screaming at the screen, “Oh! Get together already.” The climax took my heart away, like really far away. It was such a beautiful experience to watch it and the after-effect didn’t leave me for days. It made me realize how much of a hopeless romantic I am. It is a must-watch for sure.

Realistic
Medically Yourrs brings a whiff of fresh air in the world of repetitive college romances. Pursuing a career that you don’t want to can be quite frustrating and difficult. So is the life of the male protagonist, who sidelines his own wishes just to please his family and thus, pursues an MBBS degree. It shows how students are ready to put their studies ahead of their own happiness or health. And quite, unfortunately, this is the reality of the students in this era. I became a fan of the show for its unpredictability. The characters have their own flaws, their own set of problems. It touches its own set of delicate issues which portrays the reality of today’s time. It can be streamed on Alt Balaji.

Amazing storyline.
The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family is an example of the famous proverb, blood is thicker than water. The Ranauts are not your Karan Johan’s picture-perfect family but a highly dysfunctional family with deeply hidden secrets. This family might make other dysfunctional families in the basket look like saints. It is a perfect getaway from all the mainstream shows airing. The show brings a lot of laughter, hopes, smiles and shocks in the form of the love of the family. The cast delivers a very promising performance with their amazing acting skills and remarkable chemistry on-screen. It challenges the taboos present in the family and the climax perfectly depicts that even after everything, family sticks together because the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Refreshing.
The remix is a Prime original reality TV show where musicians add their touch to some popular Bollywood songs. The show is judged by Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi and Nucleya. The concept of the show is quite extraordinary and revolutionary as a singer is paired up with a DJ and together they make a beautiful composition. The amount of talent present in the show is remarkable. Some episodes were better than the others but overall it is a good experience to watch it. Along with some exquisite compositions, I really liked that the show lacks overdramatic waterworks from the judges. There are various melodious and magnificent compositions, but my personal favourite was ‘Tu chahiye’ in episode 9. It can be accessed on Amazon prime.

Fuh se Fantasy is a sexual fetish show about secret hidden sexual desires. The show is available on Voot and has nine streaming episodes. The show portrays the sexual desires as well as fetishes in a sensitive manner unlike other shows, where it looks like an adult film. The cast depicts the story with such ease and the plot deals with the main reason behind why the fetishes remain hidden. It also calls out to stereotypical people or people with a narrow mindset. I admire the fact that the show is more than just sexual content. It is insightful, has its own hilarious moments, the perfect dose of drama and ultimate chemistry between the cast.

Disappointing.
Parchayee brings the bone-chilling horror stories of the legendary writer Ruskin Bond to the video format. The show is a perfect and suitable example of an amazing star cast and pathetic adaptation. Bein a Ruskin Bond’s fan from as long as I can remember, Parchayee brought a lot of disappointments with it. All the excitement and happiness I had when I read the name faded to nothing when I watched it. The stories have a thrilling effect on it but the bad direction ruined it all. The locations are exquisite and add a charming factor to the show but there is not much to expect other than it. The show can be streamed on Zee5.

GirlsFeed features the highs and lows, ups and downs of being a woman in India. The discussion between the six Indian women handles sensitive topics that are still considered taboo in parts of India, their dating lives, the evil stare of men, mothers and stereotypes and how the Bollywood set the bar way too high for the women. The confidence and ease with which the women discuss all the difficult topics stand out throughout the duration of the series. Some of the incidents feel incredibly relatable as they are genuine and funny in their own satirical way. The show can be viewed on YouTube.

Starring Dia Mirza and Mohit Raina, Kaafir is based on the true story of Shainaz, an innocent Pakistani girl who was stuck between the hatred and prejudice between the two countries. The show covers a grieving Indo-Pak political context where the Border Security Forces hold Shainaz captive as they mistakenly consider her a militant. It shows the whole conflicting situation of Kashmir in a new beaming light. I absolutely admired the ease with which the whole cast touches such a sensitive boundary. The chemistry between the cast is remarkable and exquisite. The show has astounding cinematography, heart-warming love story, beautiful narrative and an excellent plot and is a must watch. The show can be streamed on Zee5.
