A romantic cliche spread across space.
The Space Between us is the story of a young teenage boy who happens to reside in a colony of humans on Mars and his search for his father, presumably on earth. The whole picturization was breathtaking, but dewy-eyed teenagers failed to provide some much-needed gravity to what could otherwise have been a fabulous movie.
The movie is filled with cliches, and I will take turns with each of them:
#1. Women are from Venus and (you saw this coming), Men are from (yup) MARS!
#2. What is the first snack space boy eats after landing on earth? That's right 'MARS'!
#3. If you love someone, you cross oceans, but because you live on another planet, you cross space. Well, your health issues can temporarily be forgotten.
#4. What do you do when you find a space boy? You run off with him.
#5. Classified information can be found everywhere. EVERYWHERE.
#6. The pain of separation, followed by sacrifice cause there's nothing left on earth anyway.

It does seem at certain points that a world presumed to be 16 years in future which has high-tech gadgets, but the vehicles and classrooms are still similar to present day. The love between the two youngsters was supposed to make me teary eyed, but alas it failed.

The Space Between us is sweet to some extent but does not hold many surprises in it, not to mention music comes up very suddenly throughout this movie. Peter Chelsom had it all set I'm sure, but maybe he got a little too carried away with the whole Mars Expedition.

Overall the movie is watchable but doesn't make any actual sense apart from its cliched romance.

Mean girls meet Butterfly effect
Before I fall is a beautifully crafted movie about a young girl who dies in an accident only to relive the same day over and over again. Not only is this movie sweet in its narrative but it focuses on a very important point that me, you and all of us tend to ignore- the power of a single day.
The movie makes you think about your life, about the day you're living and makes you want to make the most of the day-today.
Ry Russo-Young has done a commendable job in mapping what could've been a confusing story plot into something simple and beautiful. While some parts towards the start may seem disoriented and slow, repetitive actually. But it all adds up to what makes 'Before I Fall' a truly marvelous watch.
If you are a teenager, or even a young adult you will greatly relate to the characters in the story. The movie does send a distinct message before it's closure, no matter what, make every day, every second chance you get in life count and never take anybody for granted.

You should not miss it under any circumstances. You will love it.

Annoying story line with bad characters
(The following review contains spoilers)

Raabta is a Fantasy Romance film directed by Dinesh Vijan starring Sushant Singh Rajput as Shiv, Kirti Sanon as Saira and Jim Sarbh as Zakhir Merchant.

The film is extremely annoying and starts off on a cliched tone. Shiv, a Punjabi guy, gets a job at a bank in Budapest (Cliche: Punjabi's always shifted abroad for work). Shiv's character is shown to be a very chilled out, flirtatious guy, flirting with every girl he meets with almost deadly and bad pick up lines which surprisingly makes him a 'crowd puller.'
Saira is a chocolatier in Budapest and almost randomly meets Shiv at her shop. The conversation they have subtly hints at a more deeper relationship they shared, at least tries to. Saira's character is very dumb compared to the personality of Kirti Sanon.
Saira and Shiv are seen to get closer two days into their meet, because of a said 'Connection' they share. It should also be noted here that Shiv's jokes and pick up lines gets increasingly annoying and headache inducing. Saira is seen to have night terrors about drowning and is evidently shown to be hydrophobic.

The movie is very much obsessed with water and is shown very excessively without much logic.

Jim Sarbh is the villain of the story. His character is a multi-millionaire who was connected to Saira through the past connection shown in parts through Saira's night terrors. Zakir tells Saira about their past connection, and we are thrown back into another flashback explaining the connection of these individuals to each other.

In my opinion, there were a lot of things that went horribly wrong for Raabta. For one, the actors were trying hard to fit into characters that were different from who they are as a person. The entire plot could have been shortened if the main back story was narrated in a better way.
Kirti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput failed to create sparks and were dull on screen. As for Jim Sarbh, compared to his acting in A death in the Gunj, he seemed very robotic here.
Coming to the back story, the back plot is filled with cliches about reincarnation, a theme which is ever so common in Bollywood apart from that, character portrayals were hilarious and Shiv's past life character bore a striking resemblance to the game Far Cry 3's villain 'Vaas.' Some of the fight scenes seemed to be a copy of Tollywood hit 'Magadheera.' The background music too does not match the specific situations and failed to wow me in any way.

The film promised to deliver hits but failed with its uninteresting plot line, annoying dialogues and draggy story. The only proper thing about the movie was the music.
I would not suggest you watch the film, as the only thing you'll be taking away from it is a head splitting headache and regrets.

A religious battle with a bad ending
Fallen is a movie based on the novel of the same name by Lauren Kate. While the book is absorbing and gripping, the film is frustrating and extremely laborious to watch in comparison to the actual novel.
The plot progression is haphazard blurring the line between reality and mythology in a way that would leave you baffled without any clear understanding of the whole plot. The character choice suits the story line, and so does the music, but that's just it. The movie is nothing more than just holy looking men fighting for a girl.
With an abrupt ending to a seemingly striking face off, Fallen had literally fallen when it came living up to its parent novel.
I would not suggest you watch it.

Compelling narrative, complicated plot
Hacker is the story of a young teenager interested in making fast cash online and settling scores with a big banking corporation.
Hacker has an adamant first-person narrative, from the main protagonist itself but fails to deliver when it comes to smoothness. The plot seemed very rushed and unstable.

The movie shows a significant part of a probable online society that is slowly coming into existence. There were a lot of plot holes (the next sections contains spoilers) like the death of the Federal judge which was not adequately addressed as to who in reality staged it and why. The real identity of Kira's Uncle and his connection to almost everything in the story.

Overall the movie will greatly appeal to computer enthusiasts and has a sense of rush to it, but it still is nothing less than mere average. I would suggest you pass unless you really want to watch it.

Frankenstein takes a sinister turn
Frankenstein takes a sinister turn with this edge of the seat movie. When I say the edge of the seat I mean it, because there's no way you are going to stop your heart from thumping real hard with this one.
Depicting a very hot and controversial theme that is racism, Get Out shows a much darker side to black slavery.
While we may have had heard many stories about Black Slavery and Racism, maybe even felt them in our lives. But this takes all of the above mentioned and turns it into something that is nothing less than a nightmare.
It is definitely a class apart in the horror movie genre and gives it a fresh new touch. Some of the parts in the movie does lack that flavor it carried throughout and some questions still remain. But at the end of it all, it's a definite must watch!

A relate-able feel good journey
The movie, translating roughly to Dear Life is a film about a young girl name Kaira (Alia Bhatt) who is a budding cinematographer and someone who is not very much in touch with life in its entirety.
Kaira is all of us, meaning she is someone like you and me making the character much more relatable to young adult. The movie strikingly gives a very thought provoking message. We as young adults in today's generation are so riddled with troubles surrounding us all the time we have more or less become machines of humanity, with no feelings and empathy towards anything. We all look for the right chair to lay back on, and often in the process we go through a lot of other chairs that don't necessarily appeal or provide us with the support we look for, but it does help us get our choices straight.
Dr. Jehangir Khan (Shahrukh Khan) is an unorthodox psychiatrist who changes the way we look at psychological doctors. His character is like a breath of fresh air but is very utopian.
Compared to other conventional Bollywood movies, this film goes a long step forward in changing the film industry considerably.

The movie is thought provoking and will last in your memory for a long time. Gauri Shinde has brought together the perfect star cast that is both sweet and fitting at the same time. To see Bollywood making such woman-centered movies is a revolution in itself.

s Kaira our Ferris Bueller? might be. This was one of the few "coming of the phase" films that Bollywood usually avoids to experiment with. Personally, I found the central characters "first world problems" and hypocrisy a bit annoying. But nevertheless, I felt the film itself suffered from identity crisis. Confused.
Isha Chakraborty
I agree. Kaira's character came off annoying to me as well. But it's something common. I have a very close friend who is exactly like Kaira in terms of behaving with people and facing adversities. For this very reason, I could connect to the movie well.

A visually thrilling adventure
Tomorrowland is everything you can ask for in a sci-fi movie. The movie itself tackles so many things that are real; it makes you believe in the impossible in a very sweet way.
With a duo such as George Clooney and Hugh Laurie, the film is an out of the world experience in itself. While a lot of theories sound probable, and a lot of them don't you can still make some sense through it all. Tomorrowland does show a glimpse of our future days and how millions of dreamers can make this world better.
Disney loves CGI effects, and it was prevalent in Tomorrowland as well, and in a very mesmerizing way, it was a joyride.
The main turn off was that the plot progression was a little to rushed (Spoilers ahead) I would have liked to know more about Nix's army, more about Tomorrowland itself. More about Frank and Athena but I wasn't given that.

However, with all the minus points Tomorrowland still managed to pack a reality punch and closed the whole plot leaving behind nothing but warm, fuzzy feelings. I would suggest Tomorrowland as a one time watch with the whole family on board. Tomorrowland will not only appeal to kids, but to adults as well.

An action packed adventure through time
In 30 years, time travel is going to be illegal and the only people who are going to be using it are the black market mobs.
Looper, is the story of Joe, a hit-man tasked to wipe off the bad from the future. Things go wonderfully okay for him, until the contracts that bind the loopers start getting abruptly terminated.
It's quite complicated, only if you don't pay proper attention. Otherwise it's a very interesting story.
Bruce Wills annd Joseph Gordon Levitt, were both great in their respective character.
However, certain questions still remain unsolved but I have no complaints about how the movie ended.
I can't conclude without pointing out the fact that Joseph Gordon Levitt looked ridiculous throughout the movie, and made me laugh even on parts where it was not necessary, it would've been better if Rian Johnson put someone else in his place, but at the end of it all, he still fits the bill in a ridiculous way that is
