What can I say. I had been waiting forever to get my hands on Twin Peaks right after I watched Blue Velvet and Mullholland Drive. And I was not disappointed, as the anticipation was worth it.
Twin Peaks is the pinnacle of Lynchian humor and artistic ingenuity. The series is unconventional, full of movie/song references, satire, unexpected twists and turns and a dose of the unnerving. I fell in love with some of the characters, and I am sure most of us are still haunted by some scenes - like that of Cooper's dream.
Though not everyone's cup of tea, Twin Peaks is a must watch for those who appreciate the offbeat and the macabre, laced with humor and beauty at the same time.
The entire experience can be labelled bizarre - bizarre in a wonderful way.

The Godfather is a cult classic - a stunning adaptation of Mario Puzo's novel of the same name. This film has everything : enthralling and cleverly executed dialogue and action sequences, stellar acting by the cast, just the right amount of theatrics and diaspora politics. The legacy that the Godfather trilogy leaves behind is iconic. It is undoubtedly a film one cannot refuse.
