Sharma's directorial debut is intense, and a bit tiring
There are only a few films that speak it out of the crowd. They do not have any sort of masala, extended romance, item numbers and all those masala elements. One such example is A Death in the Gunj.The film has been shot in English, Hindi and Bengali simultaneously.
I'll talk about this film very briefly. The plot was okay, and inspired out of true events. As the film's premise reads " a heavy price to pay for gentleness", so is the plot. But since it is a non-spoiler review, I better stay quiet.
Acting and performances of all cast was good. Special mention of Vikrant Massey. It's good to see that unpopular movies are making good use of talent. Hope... |
