'Pitchers' a show that looks at the lives and fortunes of four budding entrepreneurs — CEO Naveen (Naveen Kasturia), coder Jitu (Jitendra Kumar), marketing man Saurabh Mandal (Abhay Mahajan), and Yogendra Pandey aka Yogi. Over the course of five episodes, each approximately 40 minutes long (barring the finale, which clocks in at 56 minutes), we are thrust into an engaging story of four twenty-somethings in Mumbai who are navigating the start-up world for the first time ever. Naveen, Jitu, Yogi and Mandal have high-paying jobs. What they also have is an idea, a dream to start their own company, to be masters of their will instead of being slaves for their employers. And it all begins at a bar when Naveen, whose brainchild the idea for the startup is, gets drunk and is inspired by the words of his senior and mentor Bhati, an entrepreneur. “Tu beer hai,” Bhati tells him, “aur teri company, bottle.”
That’s when Naveen decides to pop out of the bottle and quit his job to work towards his dream. His friends, who trust him blindly, quit their jobs without batting an eye and follow Naveen into the unknown.
The five episodes of season one follow the four friends through their struggles, from soaring baby corn prices to rejections from investors to fund their startup.
The show is brilliantly written and acted. The casting, done by a fellow TVF member Nidhi Bisht, works well as the four friends seem very real and raw. It’ll be unfair to categorise Pitchers as a buddy-comedy. Of course it's funny and is about friends. It’s very intelligent yet never comes off as pretentious. It never overdoes the buddy-comedy thing and avoids cliches.
A must watch, Pitchers, simply put, is miles ahead of the curve.

WeddingStuff
Made in Heaven is a capturing Prime’s original drama series revolving around the lives of two wedding planners Tara and Karan and the unfortunate and dark reality behind big fat Indian weddings. Each wedding brings a new set of drama in their lives along with the problems in their personal lives. With closeted sexuality and infidelity in marriage, life throws one lemon after the other in their lives. The show keeps you hooked throughout the duration of 9 episodes each being about an hour long. The only thing that annoyed me about the series was the complex narrative at the end of each episode because it is of no use. The show is pretty self-explanatory. The guest actors starring in the show add to the charm of the show with their excellent acting skills and perfect timings. The show is a seemingly excellent creation by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Friendship
This calls for another creation of friendship material without a strong plot for the concept to build.
The series begins with the four at the airport, with Adaah playing Mehak, Aashim Gulati playing Armaan, Priyank Sharma playing Patrick and Veer Rajwant Singh playing Kabir. As the quartet reach Mauritius, they begin what they think will be an alcohol fuelled adventure but looks like life has other plans for them. It’s revealed that one of them has been sacked and he is now under pressure to complete a presentation by the weekend. The Holiday is a montage of epic adventures and misadventures that follow when best friends come together for a crazy ride. The story is full of fun and entertainment and one that will resonate with people. Adah Sharma is her usual chirp self, so that works in favour of the series. Veer Rajnwant Singh is a talented actor and we look forward to him performing his role. Aashim Gulati and Priyank Sharma have yet to reveal their story arcs. The performance played by all the actors are up to the mark. The background and shooting in Mauritius was so pleasuring to the eyes. Overall, this series is something to watch.

This beautiful web series is about two people who are totally damaged and broken. Harleen sethi portraits that horrific state of frozen anxiety with a substantial empathy for her broken character. It is crystal clear that Seth's Sameera and her mortified self abusive'one sided love' I inspired by Kareena kapoor Khan's Geet in Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab we met' . This girl's struggle to come to terms with being dumped is her own. The very talented Vikrant Massey who anchors the series, harnesses it's inner core of raw feelings and makes us watch till the very end. Vikrant plays a man who lives with his dead wife. Vikrant gives enormous dignity to veer's struggle to live with his love even after death. "Broken but beautiful" is a very beautiful story that tells us that it's ok to fell broken and that love can sometimes be found deep within the crevices of a broken heart.

The concept of Mafias dealing drugs and arms isn't unheard of, Amazon's take on it is certainly something to behold in highest of regards. The show is based in a small town Mirzapur where Akhanda Tripathi's (Pankaj Tripathi) realm reigns supreme. While his "business" and the empire passed down from generations are flourishing, the tug of power among his impulsive son Munna Tripathi (Divyendu Sharma) and a wife Beena Tripathi (Rasika Dugal) who is too young make for interesting drama but they are not the only ones hogging the entire screentime.

Mirzapur is a treasure chest of characters so unique and so well developed, that writers and writing deserve distinguished credit. Take, for instance, the other protagonists, Bablu Pandit (Vikrant Massey), a bright student aspiring to be a civil servant but circumstances choices take him down a completely different path or his brother Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) searching for his way to the top .
From Infidelity, brutal killings to family rivalries, the show doesn't shy away from gory. Death scenes are too real and cruelty is appalling. performances are fierce and it's easy to forget the characters aren't actual residents of Mirzapur but actors.

You'll fall in love with it if you have a taste for art.

FamilyLife
Unlike most onscreen infallible families, Rathore's have their fair share of disappointments, drama, and feuds. The great Indian dysfunctional family is although a soap opera at heart, but comes quipped with a clean, modern and realistic narrative.

Vikram (Kay Kay Menon), is a retired Colonel whose injury forced him into leaving the army. Vikram's domineering and strict disposition towards his family makes him come off as cold. His second wife tries her best to accommodate to his and the family's needs which makes her feel dejected and repressed. His brother Samar (Barun Sobti), ran away from the despair a long time ago, and now has returned with his wife to be part of a family wedding. Vikram's mother, on the other hand, is a lively and vibrant woman who wishes to see her family reunited. While all of the members grapple to keep the frail threads of their relationships taught by putting aside their differences, chances of reconciliation look bleak. From Vikram's daughter's accidental revelation of her homosexual orientation to his mother's frailing health, many challenges are facing the Ranaut's, before the unconditionally accept each other.

The production design is pleasing, writing is on point and engaging. Performances aren't half baked either, and characters deliver some moving dialogues. It's a great watch for drama enthusiasts.
