Dustbin reviewed The Reunion
The Reunion is a story about four friends, who lost contacts after school. The main protagonists are Arya, a creative head at Myntra, a major fashion label, Deva, an HR consultant, Dev, Deva’s husband, who is chasing his start-up dream and Gaurav, a stand-up comedian with new found fame. The series brings back our own memories from school, lost friends and all the moments from that innocent time in life. The series is a complete package of laughter, tears, romance, and arguments.
Anuj Sachdeva as Dev has the most to do in terms of expressions and scope. He is the dissatisfied, unhappy, looking-to-break-free guy. However, when with friends, he switches off from his unhappy married life, and enjoys the most. He drinks, breaks out into jigs and dance moments. But his fights with Deva open up even in this ambience. Shreya Dhanwanthary as Deva seems harrowed in the presence of Dev and feels upset at the way their love life has shaped up. A lady who does not want to open up, talk and solve things as she has always wanted her way!! This is her thought process, with her husband and with her once-best friend, Aarya. Shreya does a decent job in the role. G seems the most uncomplicated guy, full of energy, joyous all the time. Veer Rajwant Singh is funny, his expressions top-notch. Sapna Pabbi as Aarya convinces us in the role. She’s happy and free-going , but looks quite complex with respect to her friendship with Deva. Amidst them, we have a girl who has mothered two kids, and listens to the never-ending drama of her mother-in-law.
The location and the setting of the series is wonderful, like places close to nature, the school, etc. The dialogues are in relevance with the viewers’ mindsets. They convey what most of the viewers are feeling. There is an equal balance between comedy, romance, and logic, and all these aspects are portrayed through different perspectives. The story portrays our dreams, fears, and problems through the conflicts and the issues central characters face with each other and with themselves. The series produced by Nikhil Gandhi and Azure Entertainment and co-produced by Lakshya Raj Anand will surely bring a smile on the faces of everyone, who has had happy times in the past with friends. Karishma Kohli, who has directed this series has does a good job too!
Yes, the series does take us to our good old college times, and makes us think and ponder about our friends… It also got us dial a friend from college times and have a hearty chat…
The series will definitely to take you to a walk down the memory lane. It is a complete package and is perfect for binge watching when you miss your school a little too much.

Far from being Real!
I cannot even begin to say how much I am annoyed with the word "Reunion" since it has acquired a more nuanced understanding in the recent times, and one being that of an extremely overused "plot-device". The Reunion lives upto it's name and hypes it up even more by adding the unnecessary "PROM" in the end. It basically revolves around the lives of four friends - Aarya, Deva, Dev and Gaurav who have long passed out from their maiden school "The Bourbon High". One day they all receive an unexpected invitation from their past asking them to come together to relive their highschool and all the memories associated with it. Estranged best friends meet, new relationships are formed, new truths are revealed on the way but what is absolutely dangerous is the fact that this show provides redemption and closure to bullies like Aarya and Deva in the name of "arey yaar hum toh bacche the, we were stupid" while being confonted about their acts. Honestly, that was really cringy and perplexing. Aarya's acting was superficial. Deva's and Aarya's lack of emotional understanding of Bhavna's situation is clearly a character fault. In total, it was a decent watch which tried to cater to the taste of the young adults today. The reunions was far from being realistic. It'a available on youtube.

Awesome
The Reunion is about four friends, Arya, Deva,Dev and Gaurav. Arya is a successful creative head at Myntra, Deva an HR consultant , Dev is msking his startup work, and Gaurav is an uprising stand-up comedian. The first episode looks into the life of these four individuals when their reunion letters arrive in, Gaurav is already excited for the reunion and tries to convince Arya for it, and Arya reluctantly says yes. Dev and Deva are married and living in US and, well, things between are going through a rough patch and they are trying to make it work. All four of them agrees to go to the reunion. On the reunion they look back on their innocent times and lots of childhood memories. Its full of laughs , tears , love and arguments.
Its a must watch for those who've not talked with their school friends for a long time and , well, this is an excuse to talk to them. Find some time together. A good series. lots of nostalgia.

Dobi reviewed The Reunion
Starring Sapna Pabbi, Anuj Sachdeva, Shreya Dhanwantary and Veer Rajwant Singh, 'The Reunion' is the story of these four school friends, who, on no longer remaining in each others' touch, plan their class reunion after about 10 years. These friends, from the not-so-glitzy fashion designer to the self-acclaimed stand-up comedian, make this an interesting watch. It reeks of subtleties of life, encompassing how the going gets tough after the high school. It definitely strikes a chord with the audience. There's nothing new though. A watchable web series directed by Karishma Kohli.
