Mom & Co. is a very sweet and brilliant web series that explains a mother and son relationship, with utmost clarity. Mom & Co. Ashish Ranglani was the directorial debut in the web industry, who had assisted in various prestigious projects such as Netflix’s Sense8, and Sacred Games, and many many other movies. The veteran actress Neliima Azeem makes her comeback and have the digital debut with Mom & Co. Ayush Mehra is a popular face on the web series, it appeared in many sketches by Filter Copy and has previously worked in a web series by Bindass titled Life, Lafde Aur Bandiyan.
In the story Aditya has recently laid off from his company, searching for a job, when a previously neglected idea takes root in his mind. Whoever have ever tasted his Aai’s (mother) food have always praised it, giving hearty compliments and showing happiness, which go beyond just formality. Aditya freshes out of job and works at a boring office, he decides to open a business that will make it possible for his Aai’s food to reach much more hungry stomachs and satisfy souls. But could it be as easy as he
thinks? It's a must, must watch!

An original and honest attempt
This show features a out of the ordinary story of a mother Suhasini Joshi (Neelima Azim), who is trying to realize her long lost dreams of working professionally and her son Aditya Joshi (Ayush Mehra) in process to amend his relationship with his mother. Aditya, who is intially skeptical of his mother's abilities, finally comes around and supports her in an entrepreneurial journey.

A lot of things are just happening in the show and its really hard to distinguish their cause or a why. Story development lacks a meaningful narrative and goes on trying to deliver a lot of half-bakedideas.

Actors did as well as they could with clearly choppy writing. There are so many emotions and absolutely no gradient when switching between them, one moment is joyous and the next feels like the end of the world. The dialogues are washed out and have nothing impressive. While some may find dramatic gasps worthy of entertainment, I found them repulsive.

If Suhasini's emotions were harnessed better, the story would feel a lot more convincing and if Aditya's character was developed enough to justify his narcissism, there would be no superficial problems, to begin with.

It's at most a one time watch especially for someone with a taste for soap operas.

Entertaining.
As we grow up, we tend to overlook the efforts and sacrifices our mother makes for us. Mom & co is one such series that correctly portrays this negligence of kids towards their mother in a fascinating way. The story tugs at your heartstrings and leaves you contemplating your actions. The story is of a young lad Aditya who has almost everything except some time for his mother and takes her for granted. This is until his life comes spiraling down when he loses his job and his girlfriend dumps him. That’s when an idea that was long forgotten resurfaces. His aai’s dabbas that are immensely popular amongst his friends becomes his business ventures which in turn help him rekindling his breaking relationship with his mother. Join Aditya and Suhasini in this beautiful, nostalgic and commendable ride.

'Mom & Co', a web series that stars Neliima Azeem, Aditya Joshi, Shreya Mukherji, and others.
Neliima Azeem plays a single mother who has brought up her son, Aditya Joshi, played by Ayush Mehra single-handedly. Ayush is one of the many people who are not very fond of their parents and take them for granted. Everybody who has ever tasted his Aai’s (mother) food has always praised it, giving hearty compliments, which go beyond just formality. Fresh out of job and working at a boring office, Aditya decides to open a business that will make it possible for his Aai’s food to reach much more hungry stomachs and satisfy souls.
The web series has an interesting premise, that of a mother and a woman who’s looking at spending years of old age withering away and therefore decides to take up a business opportunity. The best part about the series is its concept. It is the beautiful story of the single mother, Suhasini Joshi, who has raised her son all by herself, and has reached a phase in her life wherein she is restricted to talking to her diary and penning down her thoughts on paper rather than having a direct conversation about them with her son/well-wisher. Mom & Co. is a story that is relatable on a spiritual level, a story of a mother and her son, a son who takes his mother for granted. A son who is ungrateful, rude and selfish. Our mother is someone who does so much for us, for her children, and we rarely take a moment to appreciate it, because it’s her duty. Mom & Co. works like a mirror that will make you contemplate your actions and be considerate, for at least a moment. Neliima Azeem does a good job of playing the understated and ignored family member while Aditya Joshi does a good job of playing the corporate culture young man. It’s refreshing to see Ayush in a role that puts forth his amazing talent to full potential. Ayush’s Aditya is an insolent yet a considerate son, who is just too much in his own head, and Ayush portrays the role with astonishing ease.
Mom & Co. is a sweet and brilliant series that explains a mother-son relationship, with utmost clarity. A must, must watch.

Aai tu best aahe!
There are times when we fail to understand why our mums get so finicky about food, health and above all our well-being. We often take it for granted and we mostly forget to acknowledge their presence and importance in our life. And we usually ignore it in the name of "generation-gap", sometimes screaming at them for not understanding us, but, who are we to blame them, when in the first place we are not okay with being so open with our feelings because the fear of being judged still resides within us. Honestly, it's it's not always their fault but at the same time it's not always our fault as well. The construction of society is such that miscommunication takes the central couch in desi families. And this show, does exactly that. It depicts the parent-child relationship by being in the prime focus. It brings forth the harsh dualities and realities of "generation-gap", extreme narcissim , lack of dearth , respect and sometimes love. I have often heard this saying that " Love changes in a relationship, but what remains constant is respect." The story revolves around Suhasini and her son Aditya. Aditya is completely absorbed in his own world and seldom spends time at home. He is physically present but is always mentally absent. Suhasini being a single mother, does her fair share in keeping her son happy but her oblivious to her sacrifices continues to trouble and disregard her until reality hits him hard. Her dreams of running a kitchen and cooking food for other people makes her happy, she wishes to change her passion into profession since Aditya is rarely there. What follows is a story filled with dreams, food , family, respect and above all fulfilment. It's absolutely emotional and will leave you with tears. Created by Zoomstudios original, it's easily available on youtube. Viewers who love family dramas will not be disappointed.

Better than I expected
Most web series that have the word mom in it tend to make it very emotional and dramatic and I, honestly, was not prepared for what this web series would serve. But, this was quite unexpected. From relating to quite a few moments between the mother-son relationship’s moments to sharing the love for food, this series did take me by surprise and how! It shows how a (prodigal?) son finds his way back to his mother in times when they both needed each other.
This has been a pretty refreshing change and if you are away from home, then I am sure this is going to make you pick up your phone and call your mom. We have all given too many excuses, we have all been too busy, but this is going to show you what goes on on the other side of the story and how your mother feels about it.

Starring Neelima Azeem as 'Aai' and Ayush Mehra as the son, the story of these characters explores the subtleties of mom-son relationships in general. Given that the son is sacked from his job and faces difficulties with the new one, he decides to call it quits after all. Starting on a new venture with his mum, they together, as partners, open up 'Aai's Kitchen'. The performances are good. Overall, a nice, sweet storyline with good acting.
