well, I remember how pumped I and my friends used to be for Spider-man movies. I even put my BITSAT date the first available slot so that I could catch Spider-man 3 as early as then possible.
Again, Spider-man 2 happens to be one of the best Superhero movies of last gen, after Batman Begins. But shouldn't we take a break? Do we really need a Spider-man movie, thrust into our faces, every 2 years? Then next one is already scheduled for july 2016 and we also have 2 spinoffs on the way? aah...we need some pest control. Or maybe its superhero fatigue. We are having too many superhero movies, at least 4 a year...2 weeks later we have XMEN: DOFP and Gaurdians later in the year. Would they have anything new to offer other than Good vs evil, Hope vs Fear and David vs Goliath plot??

Coming back to movie, the villains are an wasted effort(should have stuck to 1) and too "cliche'd", more "comic bookely" than the one's we see in mithunda's movie...announcing names in and spurting dialogues explaining their motives . This might appeal to young audience but not to current gen, who has seen characterizations such as Loki, Joker and the Winter Soldier.

But on a positive note, we finally have the wisecracking and cocky Spider-man , on the same lines as the TV shows and comics...but why does he still keep crying every 30 mins??. The Action sequences are +1, and especially the climax battle with dubstep....but I wish it did not have "not another comic book ending"...ala Iron man 1's ending.

I won't say I am pumped of for the next one unless we have Carnage or Mysterio.

Though it ain't TDK or Spider-man 2 but stands fresh among comaparable superhero sequels....worth a watch for its fist fights. The story could have been a bit edgier /fast paced....nonethless...DC your Move!!1

Well, Thor happens to me the most unrelatable and boring Marvel Character. You can't play the "David vs Goliath" or "power of the common man" card with his movies. Thor happens to be the son of a God. He already got one of the strongest weapon and a pretty large army at his disposal. Well Marvel tried to underplay his powers in Thor 1 where he was banished and stripped of his powers, but they can't pull that off every time, and fortunately Alan Taylor and team doesn't even try to. Again Thor 2 has introduce many new settings,you would notice in first 5 minutes where the Norse Gods are using Guns/Grenades/LCD touchpads/Airships/Bombers/cannons which kinda breaks the continuation from the Asgardian world created in Thor 1.

Well Thor 2 is in pretty different tone(read better) than the boring first one. We have got ample amount of humor this time(Loki Roxxx and Captain America Cameo is awesome). We have right amount of drama, action, tension ,romance and humor. Only its a bit slow paced(much like our TV series episodes)

The plot has nothing new or unexpected to offer.

Well Performances are great, as always you are left yearning for more "Loki" than Thor and his company but nonethless every body has done their part pretty well except for the villain who is a pretty run of the mill villain like the ones we have seen in 1980's hindi bollywood movies.

The post credits scene is a bit discordant(being directed by James Gunn) but it does its job fine.

Go for it, your 200 bucks spent well, its a lot "better" than the first one.
PS: I am not a Thor fan

The cheated feeling after watching this assembly line trash is worse than discovering when a kid that the GI Joe's that came free with pepsodent 250gm pack were made in china fake imitations ...meh

well, a movie in longtime which not only leaves you spellbound by the serious awesomness of visual artistry but a great subliminal message which can have several interpretation depending the viewer.

How important is HOPE?
How important are GoodByes?
How important are friendships?

You surely carry loads when you walk out of the theater than you spend for the ticket.
Sit with me over a coffee and we shall discuss, the movie is more than one can interpret, every one will have his own opinion and that what makes the movie work.

Surely winning or running for Academy awards for Best Picture, adapted screenplay and VFX.

If u expect an action romp, big cannons, spaceships, alien invasion, Michael Bay's Explosions, firefights, dogfights in MIB 3, then there ain't any. Its a dialouge and story driven movie which comes out to be surprisingly fresh and good.
Watch it for the impeccable impersonation of Tommy Lee Jone's Agent K by Josh Brolin and the ending.
