You wouldn't believe this series was made in 2015 considering some of the sexist comments made by the love interests and women themselves. Knightly even says to Lizzie at some point that her outfit is "asking for attention" Yikes... This show could have spent more time building up storyline, friendships and romantic relationships, etc instead it spends episodes wasting time of characters building exercise bikes, Marianne getting/losing jobs, and a mouse being trapped in an apartment. Those elements might be ok if they were side plots but instead they take center stage and only a few minutes are devoted to further what should be main stories.

Cute
The premise seems unbelievable, students in a senior class suddenly start randomly exploding. You might think that silly - and it is - but it also creates the atmosphere of the movie never knowing who is going to go next. Also I know this movie was filmed in 2018/2019 but is very relevant for our times. Random illness is killing people, school is cancelled, they wait for a cure while in quarantine, the illness still spreads. The whole point of the movie is just to live life in the moment and never pause to question why certain things happen and whose fault it is-- they just happen, but live as if you will explode tomorrow or like you might catch a certain illness in a global panorama

Boring
I had been intrigued to watch this but as movie progressed it was dull. It feel unfinished, the stakes weren't raised. There was little to no dialogue and scenes were either rushed or dragged out. My main compliment is the set, costumes and generally design is beautiful.

disappointed
was disappointed this was 90% the original cartoon movie with only real actors appearing onstage for about four songs total. Considering this is broadway musical I'm not sure why they couldn't do more of it without the cartoon movie playing

Really Good
This was the first show or movie I've watched in a long time that made me feel high emotions. I seriously could not stop watching it and did not want it to end. I don't want to say too much, but there is a reason I didn't rate it higher. You will have to watch for yourself to see why.

cast list on point
as a librarian I can tell you the issues of homelessness and mental health are real things public librarians deal with every day. I think this movie does a good job of the inner struggle of our relationships with patrons, personal privacy and also the right thing to do without crossing the line

there are so many problematic things with this movie. one PoC with barely any lines. sexualization and assualt of women as well no major female characters, they are only there to serve the purpose of the men... also the use of tobacco

short and creepy
ok so these people spend like 24 hours with each other and suddenly they are in love. also will no one else in their lives find it odd that these two men are dating two people who look exactly alike when they at least knew or dated the opposite person. also the bff guy was in love with his friend and settled for the girl that looked exactly like her...

Cutesty Nostalgia with awakening realization of lazy writing
Finally finished watching all 7 seasons of this show. The first season was for sure the best and 2nd was close because of the quiz master.

Some things I hate about this show is unexplained absences (Jenny, Miles, Dreama),

Plot holes (Harvey saying he's moving to California and then doesn't, the scorch magazine job disappearing in mid air -as well at the fact it so obviously had been converted from the coffee shop-, the same dog and voice from Amanda's school coming to the house and not being acknowledged as it ).

Also repeated "lessons" learned like in season 3 Sabrina learns about not judging looks but then learns a similar lesson a season or so later. As well the trope of Sabrina using magic, regretting it, and having to figure a way to fix it. That made sense in earlier seasons, but when she's adult and making the same mistakes just makes her look stupid.

also after s2 sabrina finally get her witches license but she cant use it until she learns the family secret in s3, then she has to train Dreama in s4 :/ it gets old after awhile.
When I was a kid my parents wouldn't really let us watch this because this was the late 90's/early 2000s witch fear. I did see some episodes when they let us or realized it wasn't evil. Mainly when I watched it back I remembered instances from season 1 or season 5, 6, 7. It was super nostalgic in my mind and I think I wouldn't mind watching s1 in the future also the end of the show is what is best :)

Better then expected
I wasn't really looking forward to watching this movie, in fact I almost returned it before watching it. But it was surprising. It has an expected yet totally fresh plot. I think in the way as soon as you know something is coming it doesn't treat it at as a shock twist and instead its jokes on itself as a movie trope. I wouldn't say it's funny, but would concede at entertaining
