One of the most hard working, talented, popular movie actors passed away on the 6Th of January due to a heart attack. The actor was of 66 years and was not old enough to die of a heart attack. Om Puri was an Indian actor who also appeared in much British, American, Pakistani movies. He made his film debut in the 1976 Marathi film Ghashiram Kotwal, based on a Marathi play and from there he came a long way ahead of his life making some of the best movies in Bollywood. He was critically acclaimed for his performances in many unconventional roles such as a victimized tribal in Aakrosh (1980), a police inspector in Ardh Satya (1982), where he revolts against lifelong social, cultural and political persecution and for which he got the National Film Award for Best Actor. He has made a numerous contribution in the Bollywood which people will never dismiss from their mind. He was honored with Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award, Grand Prix Special des Amériques Montréal World Film Festival for exceptional contribution to the cinematographic art Award and much more.
