Many great talents have made their name in Bollywood with their stupendous works, and one of them is Ayushmann Khurrana. An actor, poet, singer and an anchor, he is a well-established name in Hindi film industry.

Born in Amritsar on 14th September 1984, he did his schooling from St. John's High School. Later he joined DAV college in Chandigarh and did a major in Literature and a masters in Mass Communication from the School of Communication Studies, Punjab University. He was a serious theatre artist and did many street plays, which won him a lot of prizes.

Not directly landing into films, he participated in the reality show, Popstars, at the age of seventeen. Later on, he went to win the title of Roadies 2, which we all might be aware of. He then took the job of a Radio Jockey with BIG FM, Delhi, which gave him further recognition. He became a Video Jockey with MTV TV. Then an anchor on a singing show, informative show, dance show, IPL, the show went on.

His Bollywood career commenced with the sleeper hit, Vicky Donor, which won critical acclaim and was a commercial success. Ayushmaan was praised by everyone. He won the Filmfare for Best Male Debut and for the Best Playback Singer Male. Overnight, he became a youth sensation. He also starred in Nautanki Saala!, which again won him critical acclaim. Critics noted of his comic timing and effective emotion conveyance. Later he starred in Bewakoofiyaan and Hawaizaada, which weren't that successful at the box-office, but he did not let down the critics, and they praised his performance.
He played the role of a sperm donor in the film, Vicky Donor.
His next venture was Dum Laga Ke Haisha, which was a pure success, both critically and commercially, because of its strong content and heart-winning performance, which eventually won the National Award. Meri Pyaari Bindu might have been a failure, but he tasted success with Bareilly Ki Barfi is one of his best career work. It eventually became a success. Later he starred in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, which again was a success. Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun were his highest grossers, and one of the highest grossers of 2018. Both were received positively.
Andhadhun is one of the highest rated Indian movies on Imdb.
Khurrana always wanted to be an actor. He used to imitate Dev Anand, Raj Kapoor, and Dilip Kumar. But his family was more of an 'Indian' family. They didn't want him to be one( Maybe that's just case with all of us). He confessed about his acting dreams to his girlfriend and now his wife, Tahira Kashyap. He later was encouraged by his dad and went on to become an RJ, and subsequently, a film star.

Talking about his interest in English, he is also an avid blogger, and he never fails to impress the readers and bloggers. He is also active on Twitter with his fans and admirers, and it is a delight to read his hilarious replies. Having made a name of himself without any industry connections is a feat in himself. "Khuda jaane ke taghaaful hai ya naadani uski, woh mera haal samajhta hai, Aur samajhta bhi nahi.”
He has a number of films on the shelf, such as Dream Girl and Bala.
