Nolan's visual masterpiece
Dunkirk was an excellent movie in regards of the technical viewpoints. It had excellent direction, which is expected from someone as innovative as Nolan, it had a brilliant score by Hans Zimmer, a score that has resonated with me even now and ofcourse Hoytema's incredible cinematography. The one thing it did lack was characters, inspite of a talented cast comprising of Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy. Now they were fantastic in what they did but the movie had no lead person that you could root for, instead you root for the soldiers as a whole and despite the lack of a base character, it still had some incredibly dramatic moments amped up by the score. The lack of exposition only made the movie better as we are hooked into the war as soon as the movie begins and till the end, I was on the edge of my seat. It was a masterpiece in terms of filmmaking and Nolan brought all of his experience as a filmmaker to give us something that is beautiful and thrilling.

Must Watch
Unabashed and unapologetic. This movie has a story that won't necessarily give you a happy ending, but it will show you the reality of being a woman in orthodox India. It is a story of four women from different age groups who share the same agony, their hopes and dreams being crushed by a patriarchal and orthodox community. The movie has a talented cast led by the four amazing women. Ratna Pathak Shah was as always on her top game and so was Konkona Sen Sharma. Aahana Kumra and Plabita Borthakur were excellent as well. This isn't your regular masala movie, it might not even make you happy at the end, but it will definitely fill you with emotions as you connect with the main characters. It is true to what it is and doesn't shy away from showing things that are indeed prevalent till now. There were some dialogues and scenes removed which was irritating but it still made for a good movie. The movie doesn't preach you, it is a simple and honest tale and is still entertaining without losing it's relevance to our society. It definitely deserves to be watched.

To it's credit it had an engaging plot and it was unapologetically honest about everything it had to show. It is a purely fictional show but it takes a lot of courage to show a darker side of a beloved sport like Cricket in India. The cast is pretty good with strong performances by Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virwani and Sayani Gupta, who steals every scene she is in. Vivek Oberoi's antagonist feels a bit overacted but it is still better than some of his recent movies and so was Richa Chaddha, who I expected to be much better based on her previous work. It gets a bit predictable at times but it still makes up for a good watch.

Great
This is totally unbelievable. I was not excited for this movie at all. I thought this will be yet another family period drama with two brothers who get entangled in a love triangle. And it so wasn't. It proved me wrong and I am so happy about it. The only reason I decided to watch it is because someone recommended it and I am so happy I watched it. It's a beautiful movie, full of great performances and such a heartwarming story.
The cast of the movie is near perfect especially Fawad Khan, who really stood out for me. Also it was so great to see Ratna Pathak Shah back on screen. The trailers didn't excite me much and it might not excite many others either. But I highly recommend it. It's a really well-written family dramedy and definitely a must-watch.

Legendary
This is the Deadpool movie that I wanted. It is incredibly funny and action-packed. I was laughing the entire time during the whole run time. Ryan Reynolds is just amazing. He is definitely born to play Deadpool. This is the movie that did justice to the character, unlike the abomination that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It is really really hilarious, has amazing action scenes and the fourth wall breaking elements are just great. It also has maybe the funniest end credits scene in superhero movie history. The cast of this movie was awesome especially Ed Skrein. He was so good as Ajax and definitely is one of the best Superhero movie villian in movie history. This is definitely the movie every Deadpool movie fan deserves and if you are too, then it's a must watch.

Probably the only downside to it would be all the horrible censorships!

Pretty Strong
It's a Spielberg-Hanks collaboration. So you knew that it was going to be good. Although it might not be the best movie of both of their careers, individually or together, but it does have a strong premise and the performances by the actors, especially Mark Rylance was brilliant. I did feel that Jesse Plemmons should have been used more as he is a remarkable actor. But overall it is quite good, the tension built by the movie is excellent, the suspense and the final climax is a great one. Wishing to see more of Hanks and Spielberg in the coming future.

Incredibly Funny
Season 1: Tina Fey brings another great comedy after her successful 30 Rock. Ellie Kemper is definitely unbreakable in her role as Kimmy Schmidt as well as Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski, who shine in their respective supporting roles. The series has a lot of chuckles and there is not a single moment when you get bored or tired. Something funny and good happens every moment. And the guest appearances by a bunch of talented people like Ki Hong Lee, Tina Fey, Dean Norris, Tim Blake Nelson make it so amazing. And also maybe one of the best extended cameo in TV history ever by the lovable Jon Hamm. This one is definitely for TV Sitcom fans as it is going to make every one of you laugh out loud.

Could have been better
This could have been one of the best movie of the year and I was really excited about it because of the amazing trailer and the strong leading cast. But the movie was full of unnecessary moments and it wasn't as action-packed as seen in the trailer. To it's credit, the story was pretty good and engaging, it did have some really intense moments, the performances by Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar were really great and the finale of the movie is amazing. The finale might be the best thing about the movie. But the whole movie just kept dragging on and the love story between the two Aditi Roy Hydari and Akhtar was sometimes really painful to handle. The movie disappointed me as I was really up for it but it didn't anger me so much. It is still a one time watch because of the climax and the Akhtar-Bachchan chemistry.

The western classic by a Tarantino is another one of his best. It takes a different twist in the western genre and is just so stylish. Tarantino brings in a movie with so many amazing sequences and a cast of actors who are so brilliant in their roles. Jamie Foxx as the lead and Leonardo DiCaprio as the antagonist(for the first time), just nail their roles. Samuel L Jackson brings in one of his most finest performance. Christoph Waltz is mindblowing from the beginning till the end. The movie also earned him his second Oscar. This is a must watch for everyone.

Tarantino's dream project which he wrote prior to the release of Kill Bill but he finally got to release it on 2009. This war movie which tells an alternate story to kill Hitler, has some of the best movie sequences ever made especially the interrogation sequence in the beginning and the mind blowing climax. Christoph Waltz in this movie plays an antagonist and delivers one of the best performances in the history of cinema. The performances of Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger are amazing as well.
