The girl with the Dragon tattoo is one hell of a thriller. If you havn't read the book, then this movie is for you. Rooney Mara is absolutely brilliant and so is Craig. Excellent movie overall.

What can one say about Fernando Meirelles? He's simply a genius. City of God is one of his many masterpieces. City of God is one of the best there is in the crime genre.

The second installment in the Holmes series by Guy Ritchie, surely takes the franchise to a whole new level. Downey and Jude Law are at their very best, yet again and to top it off the direction has been superb as well. The only place where the movie falters is editing. It does get a bit draggy in the middle, but a brilliant climax makes up for it. Inspite of knowing the entire scrip, having read the Sherlock novels, this movie still keeps you at the edge of your seats at all time.

Slumdog Millionaire is an over-hyped movie for sure. This one has been blown out of proportions by the western media. The acting is pretty mediocre. Rehman's score is as usual outstanding, but he has done better.

Outsourced is one hell of a T.V. series. A very witty and funny show, this series has come a long way from the movie that had hit the theaters a few years back. This one indeed has the potential to go a long way.

Denzel Washington is at his very best. Man on fire is a story of revenge and Denzel truly deserves a thumb's up for his performance. The movie ventures out into the illicit trade of human trafficking and kidnapping in Mexico. An action packed adventure, so just fasten your seatbelts and get hold of that popcorn and enjoy this one.

Collateral is one of those movies with great action and powerful performances by the lead actors. But the movie falls short of becoming a perfect one due to some poor direction. The plot is straightforward, but a brilliant performance by Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx keeps you at your seat's edge.

You rarely come across movies like UP these days. Pixar yet again shows why it's the king of animation. Up is a tale about an old man, secluded and disgusted with the world and how he opens up as he strikes a chord with a child. Brilliant story, direction and some superb animation makes up a must watch.

Lawrence Of Arabia is one of the best movies of it's genre ever made. Termed as Spielberg as the movie that shaped his life as a film director, the film follows the story of Colonel T.E.Lawrence and how he drives away the Turks from the Arabian Peninsula. Peter O'Toole successfully brings back to life the character of Colonel Lawrence and to top it off, David Lean is just amazing with his direction.
The cinematography is just to die for.

This is one of Steven Spielberg's very best. The movie also marks Christian Bale's debut in hollywood. A heartwarming story of an English boy who struggles to survive in Shanghai after it is conquered by the Japanese during the World War II. A really power packed performance by young Bale.
