Both hilarious and incredibly moving. A young police officer eulogizes his mother, dancing and singing along to Bruce Springsteen's Thunder Road. Shot in one continuous take. Met the filmmaker at Sundance and was able to tell him in person how much I enjoyed this award winning short. Winner of the Grand Jury prize at Sundance amongst 72 shorts (and over 8000 submissions)! |
