My girlfriend got me hooked to this show. Classic love story for a high school girl, with a twist of supernatural beings. GREAT series. I'm a HUGE fan of Twilight; the story, the characters, their relationships with one another was, is just simply amazing. Stephanie Meyer did a great job with her story. But the only thing that I did not like about it was her taking away from the legends. The Vampire Diaries offers it's viewers the "Twilight" love story, the danger of being around the supernatural and it leaves all of the legends somewhat accurate, if not perfect.
