Southpaw (2015)

Southpaw movie featuring Night Crawler star Jake Gyllenhaal is, I'd say cousin of category movies like Rocky. Though the movie is predictable but the acting of Jake and his daughter in the movie, Leila, is very impressive. The amount of guilt and the burden of his wife's death, that frustration, and also training for the final match, they didn't show it as much. There were drags in the movie, but in a nutshell, it's worth watching. Though it's a #onetime watch.

starring Jake Gyllenhaal as Billy Hope. The movie takes us into the life of a boxer who is an undefeated champion in his category. After each match he takes his broken and bruised body back home to his lovely wife Maureen (Rachel Adams) and daughter Leila (Oona Laurence). Everything is fine and good going until a tragedy strikes Billy. He loses everything : his career, his wife and daughter and his property. Watch the movie as how Billy brings back his old life back.
