Halal Love Review

Interconnected stories about couples living in Beirut, Lebanon. The title at Sundance was Halal Love Sex. The wife in one married couple is tired of having sex every single night with her devoted husband, and explores getting him a second younger wife. A divorced woman is in a "temporary marriage" with a married man. A tempestuous young newlywed couple are wrenched apart when the husband says "I divorce you!" for the third time in an argument, meaning they can't reunite unless she marries another man first.

It's a delightful comedy about relationships and sex from Lebanon, the last place you'd expect a comedy like this. I loved this window into another country.
